New era on the HELOG fleetHELOG recently decided on the acquisition of two new EC 145 Helicopters and signed the contract for delivery in December 2009 and February 2010. [image:Helicopter EC 145] The aircrafts feature multi mission equipment including floatation gear, hoist and single pilot IFR. This acquisition has been affected by the request of dedicated customers in Africa. Follow-up orders for another couple of 145's are anticipated in order to meet the demand of other customers in the oil and gas industry. These helicopters are also considered as favourites by those Governments where HELOG has already been operating. Training of pilots and engineers is planned to start mid of 2009 at the Eurocopter facility in Donauwörth/Germany. Aerotechnik GmbH is designated to perform the line and base maintenance at their facility in Salzburg as well at the bases in Africa.
